South America's Time Zones
Peru and Ecuador are both 5 hours behind UK time. The Galapagos Islands are 6 hours behind.
Currency Convertor
In Peru and Ecuador the currency in normal use is the US Dollar and the exchange rate at present is around $2 = £1, so divide any prices you see in dollars by two to get a rough price in £££.
In Bonaire the currency is the Netherlands Antillean Florin (NAFI). The NAFI is tied in value to the US Dollar, and has a conversion rate of approximately NAFI 1.78 to US $1.
The US Dollar is widely accepted throughout Bonaire, and US Dollars do not have to be exchanged for NAFIs. However, note that change will be given in NAFIs in most cases.
